Our dogs

Our dogs are Alaskan huskies, hardy and friendly. They come from the Alaskan Native village dogs mixed with the dogs that arrived in Alaska during the gold rush.

Our dogs come from long distance kennels. (Iditarod or Yukon Quest kennels).

With our team, we finished the Yukon Quest 1000 in 2012 and the Iditarod in 2014 and 2015 and 1250 km in the 2018 Iditarod race.

Mr. X is my best leader. He was born in 2007 in my kennel. I call him “my christmas gift” because an unforeseen breeding was done on December 24th! Viking is the father, Debee, a dog that my friend Paul Boudreau gave me, is the mother.

Mr. X is the best dog in my kennel, the best leader. He lead my team during the training and the 2012 Yukon Quest, where I realised that he is an exceptional dog.

About his name : In Quebec, each litter was given a name beginning with a different letter. First litter, it was  “A”, last litter was “X”. As this pup was alone, without brother or sister, I named him Mr. X.
