Wonderful tour to discover the Dempster Highway during the midnight sun or with the fall color and to hike every day for a few hours.

Included: Professional guide/driver with GPS, satellite phone, spray anti bear. Meals from the lunch of the first day to lunch of the last day. Camping gear, sleeping bag. Transportation by vehicle from Whitehorse to the Arctic Circle  and back. (1900km). Meals. Nights in rustic campgrounds.

Not included: Tax (5%). Your travel insurance (Cancellation and repatriation). Alcoholic beverages.

ITINERARY:

DAY1 : Meeting with your guide in Whitehorse. Transportation by vehicle from Whitehorse to Dawson. Night at the hotel.

DAY2: We visit Dawson then, we drive to Tombstone territorial Park, we will stop for a hike, then we drive to Engineer creek campground.

DAY3: We drive to the Arctic Circle. We stop at the interpretative display. We hike nearby in the Richardson mountains, then we drive to Rock River campground.

DAY4: Not far from the campground, we hike along the Continental Divide, then we drive back to Rock River campground.

DAY5: We drive to Engineer creek campground. We hike to Sapper Hill, about 3 hours.

DAY6: We drive to Tombstone territorial park campground.  Hike in the area.

DAY7 : We hike in the area before driving back to Whitehorse.

LEVEL: To be active and in good health. Hikes are easy to moderate.

CLIMAT: Yukon summer could be warm and usually dry but the weather is unpredictable. It is wise to have clothes for colder temperature as well as a waterproof jacket in case of rain.

SAFETY AND COMMUNICATIONS: Our guides are accredited with a wilderness medicine certificate. We have a satellite phone, a bear spray, a GPS,  a bear proof barrel for our food.

NOTICE: For safety reasons, we will take the permission to change an itinerary. Every participant will be requested to sign a waiver of acceptation of risk.

EQUIPMENT: Comfortable hiking boots. Comfortable clothes with the possibility to cover arms and legs. Warm layer for the evening. Waterproof jacket. Hat, sun glasses, sun lotion, insect repellent.  Optional : Walking stick, camera, binocular, flashlight.
