Alayuk Farm
The purpose of the farm is to produce part of our food and to sell the extras.
Currently we produce potatoes, carrots, beets, cabbage, kale, salads, tomatoes, peppers, squash and zucchini.
We planted some “fruit bushes”, raspberries and haskaps bushes. We hope to have some fruit in the coming years.
Mainly, for our own consumption, we raise grain-fed chickens. A few may be for sale.
We also have a few laying hens.
Bees enhance our summer and provide us with honey.
Mushrooms, a passion
After several years of study on mycology and mycoculture, I grow mushrooms for my own consumption. From spring 2024, I will grow some oyster mushrooms for sale at the market.
